I received this scale about 2 weeks ago and the first thing I noticed was that the batteries were missing. It clearly states on the box that batteries are included, but mine did not. After going battery shopping, I stepped on the scale and gave me a pretty accurate weight. A couple of days later I had a doctor’s appointment and wanted to check the accuracy of the scale. I weighed myself before leaving the house and I was very happy the weight was the same at the doctor’s office. However, this scale does not give consistent readings anymore after only 2 weeks of use. I stepped on and off multiple times, and always got the same number. Then I grabbed a 5-pound bag of sugar, stepped on again, and it was up 7 pounds. I then weighed myself without the bag of sugar and it was down 5 pounds. I weighed myself yesterday morning and after drinking a cup of coffee, I weighed myself again and it was up 2 pounds. I do like the fact that the scale is very easy to read with the large numbers and the blue backlight, but I will keep searching for the almost perfect scale.

I purchased the bike carrier for my cargo carrier. It arrived without the bolts (I’ll tell you about this later). You have to alternate bikes, front tire – back tire – front tire to get all three on. It’s really easy to attach and works great. You will have to purchase straps to secure the bikes to the carrier. The carrier is great but Lund International is not.
Now about the missing bolts. The first time I called Lund International the service rep was very friendly, took my address and phone number and said he would send the missing bolts right away. I called about a month later and the friendly service rep appoligized and said he would send them. I decided to purchase the bolts from the local hardware store instead. I wonder what their warrenty is like if they won’t replace missing bolts. I hope this isn’t standard business for the Lund Company.

I purchased this steamvac based on research on the internet and reading the reviews on Amazon. This was my first purchase of a carpet cleaner. Actually, I don’t think any one from my family has ever purchased a carpet cleaner.
I’ve always rented carpet cleaners. Like most people I got tired of the costly rental. The return trip to the store after a hard day of work cleaning carpet is not fun either.
My folks hired professionals to clean their carpet last year. They charged $150 for about 800 square feet of cleaning. They didn’t do a great job either. I figured this machine would pay for itself with one use.
I took the machine to my parents house and we took about 3.5 hours to clean the carpet and another hour to clean the floor tile. I was very careful to clean well since the carpet was so dirty. We pre-cleaned heavy traffic areas with Zep Heavy Traffic Carpet Cleaner (spot cleaner) using a hand brush. We also used the Zep Professional Carpet shampoo. Both can be purchased at Home Depot. The spot cleaner cost about $4 for a small can. The shampoo cost $13 for a large 128 oz bottle. You can easily clean a 3000 sq ft house with a single 128 oz shampoo.
The machine, spot cleaner, and HOT BOILING water did their job. The carpet was clean. The hallway between the bedrooms and both took the longest because of the heavy traffic. I used a lot of the spot cleaner and the result was excellent. There is no need to purchase more expensive chemicals.
We used Pinesoil to clean the tile. Use only half of the measuring cup that comes with the steamvac.
The plastic container that holds the cleaning solution and water contains a cap that doubles as a measuring cup for the shampoo. It contains two lines. I used the top (highest) line for carpet cleaning. I used the lower line for floor cleaning.

Don’t waste you money on overpriced HDMI cables. These work great! I got these to connect a Roku box to a Samsung TV and have never had any issues. Great value for the price.

I was very skeptical about buying an off brand ink cartridge for my gf. She is in college and I needed something that would allow her to print and not have us go through a lot of hassle of returning and getting a new one and such. I’ll tell you the truth, I was very surprised when it worked for her perfectly. Shipping was quick and painless also. I’m going to have to say that this is a good buy and I recommend it to others.

I was very disapointed with this book. The quotes are probably the best parts, with the original writing sloppy and derivative. The printing was also cheap. The basic ideas come from Nietzsche and you’d do far better to simply read his works. They seemingly disavow Freud, but engage in lots of Jungian psychobabble. Do not buy this; invest in the original authors.

while the product may or may not function well, the word service is not in the iomega vocabulary. not only is their website one of the most poorly designed that i have ever encountered, the idea of a $25 fee for telephone support on an IN warranty item is piggy (out of warranty is not serviced at all), and the online chat service is staffed with people who do not have a clue, and the information they give is not alway accurate! instructions are incomplete and poorly written. customer support (by email or online chat, unless you want to spend $25 to speak to someone. this is very unusual for a new product) is vague and often incorrct. there is no cd included anymore, although you are referred to ‘instructions on enclosed cd.’ you will have to figure out for yourself how to use this product. find a product that offers better service.

Ok, I have never seen so many reviews for one book (900?!?!?!) so I’ll be brief:
Good book. Worth the read- certainly suitable for young adults.
I LOVED the sections that focused on the faeries.
I don’t really have to say more great stuff. I’m sure it’s all been said.
Couple issues I had:
- It was clearly a series opener as there was a little lack of focus. There were other story lines being set up throughout this one.
- I found myself torn and a bit confused as to who to route for. I struggled with Artemis’ lack of morality. I wasn’t ready to see him win in the end. Was I hoping he would get bamboozled by the faeries? Did I want him to win back the family fortune? Not really sure- I didn’t warm up to him as much as perhaps others do.
I’ll read the next book because I’m hoping I’ll get to know Arty better, but I found I was far more drawn to the other characters. Artemis was a bit too amoral and arrogant to win my affection the first time around. Though the couple times he cracked and acted like a real boy, I found it charming.

I have had several pedometers, some of which did not last, some which were not accurate, and some which kept resetting themselves without warning. So far this is the best pedometer I have ever had. It does everything it claims it can do. It has been extremely dependable. I keep track of every step I take, for the Move program at the VA, and average approximately 12000 steps per day. This pedometer has yet to miss a step.
