The Omron HJ-112 works exactly as advertised and is very easy to use. I drop it in my pocket and forget it’s there. And that was my problem because I accidentally sent it through a wash cycle and part of a dryer cycle. I stopped the dryer when I heard it making a racket in there and I thought it was a goner for sure. The screen just read zero and the buttons didn’t respond. But I removed the battery, put it in a bowl of uncooked rice to draw out the moisture and the next day it worked fine and has been fine ever since. It just has a couple of faint scuff marks from the beating it took in the dryer.
So don’t hesitate to purchase this accurate, easy-to-use, tough pedometer.
