The kindle is great. I became a reader this year, read 10 books on my own between January and July. Bought a Kindle, and since then I’ve read 10 more books and it’s only August.
I will highly recommend getting a case for your kindle that has a hard back to it. The kindle is stable but where the plastic meets the brushed steel can feel a bit weak at times.
My one regret is not waiting for the new kindle generation to come out. Not because of anything I’m missing with mine, but because they have a Wifi only edition. I am going to Korea and the wireless fees to use Whispernet there aren’t necessarily cheap. So, while in Korea, I will not be using the 3g anymore, I will be using the USB cable to download my books from the site. I could have saved 40 dollars had I known that a Wifi only edition was coming out anyway, and I could utilize having Wifi in my kindle out there.

I know it’s a good book when I am sad to have it end. I miss the characters who became my friends along the way. The writing style is unique and colorful. I found myself laughing out loud at some of the turns of phrase. The characters and the story are sticking with me although it’s been weeks since I finished the book. The message and the images are haunting and memorable. I recommend this book to EVERYONE!

I can’t recommend this brand of SDHC flash.
I was on vacation and my entire HD videos captured on my Canon HF100 were lost without warning. I’m extremely knowledgeable when it comes to electronics & camcorders, and I was baffled. Just be careful with this card.
Always reformat (or “reinitialize”) when you put it in your camcorder.
The price has actually gone up on this brand for some bizarre reason. (I bought with a USB card reader for the same price 1 year ago @ $41).

I was looking forward to reading this book but SO disappointed. It was all vulgar descriptions, nudity, profanity, and basically no plot. I got halfway through and couldn’t get any farther. i don’t recommend it.

I finally read this book after being prodding by friends and relatives. I had a feeling I wouldn’t like it, but I decided I would at least give it a fair shake by actually reading it.
I wish I hadn’t.
This book is just awful. This book is easily the worst book I’ve ever read. Aside from the obvious problems with this book that have been repeatedly stated here and elsewhere on the internet, there are 4 of my own I’d like to add.
1-This book says so much with saying so little. Meyer spends effort detailing minutia that no one could possibly care about. The first chapter of the book could have been reduced to a few pages. I don’t care how she unpacked or how she walked up the stairs. Verbiage, the verbiage is just cumbersome. Every other paragraph expresses some odd facial contortion or heart murmur. Where is the depth? Who is Bella Swan? Where/what is her inner dialog? What makes her tick? What are her strengths? I get it, she’s clumsy. (How many times does this have to be driven home?) I get it, she doesn’t like herself much. What else? How did she become so self loathing? How did she get to a point of falling in love with someone so easily, someone who treats her poorly? What about Edward? Who is he? What are his flaws? What are his weaknesses? I get it, he’s perfect at everything, he’s perfect looking, he’s perfect in every way, other than being a jerk to Bella. Why is he a jerk to her? Does the author think that disrespect and sexism is normal for a relationship?
2-Normally when I’m reading a book, even a book I don’t like much, I find myself sinking in. I become so absorbed by the story that I’m not even aware that I’m reading anymore. I sink in. I didn’t sink in at any point with Twilight. I never felt absorbed by this story. Each and every word I read I was aware that I was reading. It was tedious and boring, almost painful at times. The “clamp” at the top is easy to use and allows both horizontal (top tube) and vertical (seat tube) placement.
