So enjoyed the book, well researched, enticing story, pulls you in with romance and suspense. Excellent storyline, you fall in love with the characters and dont want to let go.

After going through many scales that had different readings, this has got to be the best one yet! Excellent readout, great platform for weighing, and very expensive look and feel, but not expensive on the wallet. I’ve tried many, this one out”weighs” them all by far!!!!!!

I live in London and bought the Kindle on the strength of a demo from a friend in Sweden who owned one because, well, he has to have every ‘cool’ gadget. I can testify absolutely that Whispernet works brilliantly in (at least) England, Switzerland, Sweden and the Netherlands .. it’s true I have to take my Kindle everywhere and I can’t bear to be without it.

The Kindle is smaller than a lot of books and fits well in my handbag – hence I can take it everywhere.

It’s the perfect reading material on the tube; for those that aren’t familiar with London transport – this is an underground train that, at rush hour, is so packed you have to push your way on and spend most of your journey closer to more people’s armipits than you ever ought to be at that time of the morning. With the restricted space and only one hand free (the other is holding on to avoid getting thrown further into that armpit) the Kindle is perfect – I change pages with one finger and can always find an angle at which to read.

My reading rate has risen amazingly and I have read a lot more than I would normally, something I didn’t expect.

However – the down side. Amazon is very poor on British books; whilst non-Brit books are very reasonably priced, any Brit ones are notably more expensive and there are not many of them. There are many books that are best sellers in London that don’t even feature in Kindle books. I have found Amazon to be poor on sets of books…e.g. I tried to start off the Spiderwick Chronicles for my daughter but the first books don’t feature – only the latest books are available. I’m hoping however that this is a situation that will rapidly be rectified. When can we get kindle & books on amazon.co.uk..?

I had used my sons FURminator so I had a good idea what to expect – really helps to keep the shedding down.

I got this to replace a solar-powered scale that is now over ten years old and sometimes doesn’t load its software correctly. It was a big shock to get this one, as it showed that I was 4.9 pounds heavier than my old one did, and I’d been using it for years! But I checked this one against the scale in my doctor’s office today, and it’s within 0.2 pounds of that, so I’m going by its accuracy. It doesn’t turn on until you move it, and I keep it on its side against a wall to keep it out of the way; merely lifting it from against the wall turns it on, and after I place it on the floor, it sets to “0″. It’s bright enough to see the numbers in a dark room, although since I’m near-sighted, I need to have my glasses on. But it seems like a very nice scale. (BTW, I got it after reading the review from another person who had originally had trouble with a scale he bought from this company; he had then posted a bad review. The company read the review, contacted the guy, realized his scale had a problem, and then totally remedied the problem (I can’t remember exactly how, but the guy was so happy he wrote a new, wholly positive review). I liked a report of that quality of customer service.)
