I purchased this CD set for my class and could not be happier. I couldn’t imagine a library without it especially with so many reading (and time) impaired students, our dyslexic students are helped immeasurably by this audio. It does not hurt that the narrator is wonderfully expressive and truly brings the story to life. I could not recommend these five compact discs enough. Be sure to check your sellers rating before you buy.

i am a newcomer to this series. after seeing the film on showtime i raced out to get the books. twilight is near perfect, being a very easy read. bella is very relatable especially to those of us who were and are very clutzy. she isn’t some superstar talent or supermodel and yet she has a fantastic and exciting lovelife, she attracts someone who feels she is worthy of adoration.
the other books however progress beyond weirdness and perversion and by the last book, breaking dawn, the only way you’ll know that these are the same characters are that they are being called by those names.
so i would highly recommend the first book, the second two are acceptable but in no way hold the same charm and the fourth book is a complete and utter disappointment. avoid it if you can unless you can provoke self induced memory loss later.

It has been sometime since I have picked up a book which I could not put down. The characters of this story came to life for me. I found the story, told from three different women, Aibileen, Minny & Skeeter, captivating! The story is set during the 60’s in Jackson, Miss. It is about three brave and amazing women. I laughed, teared-up and was touched throughout the book. Kathryn Stockett made this story very real to me. I would highly recommend taking time to read this book if you have not. I was sad to see the tale end and will miss these three women. I came to care about each of them, their plight and the story they shared!
