I never thought I would love a keyboard or even find one to be particularly appealing as I do this one. Having become accustomed to its small size, all ‘regular’ keyboards now seem irritatingly, superfluously large. I like the metal finish; it feels sturdy. This is also my first wireless keyboard, and it is surprisingly almost as pleasing as moving to a wireless mouse–very much so! Death to all wires!
My one bad experience: the battery level reading has been fluctuating between below 20% and above 40% for the past several days, and I’ve only had the keyboard for about a month. I move the keyboard around quite often–perhaps the batteries are not making good contact with the sensor to give a proper reading? Nevertheless, the batteries seem to be lasting far below the advertised up-to-9 months. But if it costs a pair of AA’s a month to operate this talented lad and further liberate me from oppression by wires, then so be it!
I’ve changed the batteries and will update when I see if the battery life fares any better. Take note of Microsoft’s new Arc keyboard–it looks suspiciously like a poor man’s imitation of the Apple wireless keyboard.
My Apple brethren, we will never be suppressed! Steve Jobs, Our Great Leader, lead us well in this new era of rule!
Apple Wireless Keyboard Kit
I’ve had this product only a few weeks now but it has already help my training tremendously. No more looking down at my watch every 30 seconds wondering when I’m going to be done with my run. I wish it automatically told me my time and pace at every mile though, instead of just the milage. But overall it’s a very helpful tool.
NIKE IPOD SPORT KIT
This device is one of the best purchases I’ve made to aid in my training program. Having the ability to track my distance/pace per run is opened me up to new training styles, so that I can improve my performance. The garmin is an asset to any distance runner.
LENS FILTER KIT SPECIAL
This is an amazing device. It is just a younger brother of i-phone.
Applications that can run on it are fabulous.
I know that this book is extremely popular, and I’m definitely not one to believe that censorship is the key to healthy children, but I was amazed and troubled by this book, and by the fact that it’s on many school reading lists.
Within the first couple of chapters the reader is introduced to the main character who favors a body guard that is trained to kill, tortures and drugs an alcoholic fairy (yes, I understand the humor of it, but I’m not sure it’s a good message to send to kids), and is the youngest member of a family with a long criminal history. Artemis has no redeeming qualities, and he is, as one reviewer put it, “a nasty little boy.” Definitely not someone I want my daughter looking up to. If this was a book for teens I wouldn’t have a problem with it, but there is no way my kid is going to read it before the age of thirteen.
Kingston Apple 2GB Kit
This cable works well and costs much less than similar ones from Best Buy, so save your money.

The Wii console is small and fits out of the way. It was easy to hook up. The only problem I had with this purchase is the remote does not work. I tried configuring it to the console and also tried new batteries, and still no luck. Had to purchase a new one from the store. I have not had time to get with the purchasee to let them know of the problem and to get a replacement. Schedule has been hectic. So, I can not say they have not corrected this problem because I have not contacted them yet.

I enjoyed this first book in a Harry Potter-sortof way. It’s good, fun escapism. What I like is how the tempo of the book changes from criminal drama to comedy to fantasy to spy novel, etc, etc… Initially, you aren’t really sure what is going on, but eventually the young anti-hero idea catches on and becomes a very entertaining narrative. Nathaniel Parker provides a fantastic narration, reminiscent of Jim Dale’s excellent characterization for the Potter audio books.
Having finished the first couple books, I’m led to think of the first two books almost as a continuous story, with many of the same characters recurring.
Worth checking out.
