I don’t actually own a kindle, but I did just buy a Nook, and it was the worst purchase I’ve made in years. The software on it was absolute junk. I am a Software Engineer, and I know bad programming when I see it. It is obvious to me that Barns and Noble, in an attempt to meet the holiday season, put out a product that is filled with bugs. So if you are trying to decide between a Kindle or a Nook, go Kindle, or buy a Nook and pray that the updates fix some of the bugs. Note: I wanted to leave this review on the Barns and Noble website, but they do not have a place for customer reviews for the Nook (I wonder if there is a reason for that).
